Young Indian Middle order batsman, Virat Kohli has fined 15 percent of match fee in the ODI match against New Zealand in Dambulla on Wednesday. He has fined due to showing disagree with empire decision.
Kohli has fined under Level 1 offence, he felt guilty and accepted that proposed sanction from Alan Hurst of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees after finishing the match.
Kohli was found to have breached 2.1.3 of the code which relates to "showing dissent at an umpire's decision." Umpire has given Kohli out in the sixth over, Kohli did not leave the ground and looked at the umpire. These are considered as of dissent and fined him.
Kohli has scored 1,090 runs in 33 one-day internationals with two hundreds and eight half-centuries.
