Salman Butt is a Long-term Test Captain for Pakistan

PCB Chairman, Ijaz Butt has announced Salman Butt is appointed a long-term test captain while Shahid Afridi already appointed as a One Day Internationals captain until 2011 World Cup.

Ijaz Butt said the PCB has been searching for the long-term Captain. That person has confidence in the abilities as a cricketer and captain. The Salman Butt showed that much of confidence since appointed as a caption.

He has enough time to rebuild the team for check the winning combinations. Theses ideas will give a lat of confidence and support for his for there plans.

He is introducing the young players providing with the encouragement, guidance and support.

Shahid Afridi announced his retire from the Test Cricket after Pakistan Australia first test at Lord’s. After that, Salman Butt will take the charge as a captain and his captaincy give the success to Pakistan won the second test against Australia and leveled the series.
