A short camp of two or three day’s duration would be held for Indian probable ahead of the two-Test series against Australia commencing from October 1, Cricket Board sources said on Tuesday.
Aussies are due to arrive ten days before the start of the series, showing how serious they are in confronting the hosts who have maintained their standing as the number one ranked team in the world.
Ricky Ponting and his men are expected to reach Delhi on 21 September. They have four days practice session followed by a set of three days of game at Chandigarh from September 25-27.
After three days of rest and practice, the Aussies go to the test series in October 1-5 with the opening to be held in Mohali. The second test will be held in Bangalore from October 9 to 13.
