NZC Creates IPL Window Agreement for Players

New Zealand cricketers’ association agreed New Zealand Cricket Board new agreement. It is an eight years contract this deals will runs till August 2018 and also the players will have a chance to participation in the IPL.

According to this deal, the revenue forecast will be around $360 million, in that $152 million will be invested for the professional cricket during this period.

Along this deal allows players will play entire IPL and increased the player’s payment.

$ 8 millions will be allocated to grassroots cricket that means approximately $ 65 million will be allocated for the grassroots cricket. In the last eight years (2002-10), $40-45 millions were invested on grassroots cricket.

$25 millions to the NZC reserves for the hosting of the 2015 World Cup. The top New Zealand Cricketers had interested to sign in this contract but some of the players rethinking they want to sign a contract with NZC.
