Pakistan Board says that won’t Suspend Under Corrupt Players

Pakistan Cricket Board says that, Now they will not suspend Pakistan Cricket Players, which are involved in the corruption of match fixing allegations. Now, three Pakistan cricket players are there in this match fixing allegations.

Based on the earlier report, the Britain revealed that Salman Butt, bowler, Mohammad Amir and Mohammad Asif are in the match fixing case. But, the investigation is not completed with these cricket players.

Pakistan Cricket Board chairman, ljaz Butt says that, corruption cricket players will not suspended being next round investigation is there between on going these match fixing allegations players. Till now the investigation is not completed.

We are not taking with any action with out any proofs. If proofs are there, then immediately took the action, which are committed with middleman and involved in the match fixing allegations.

Pakistan Team has Lost ODI Series Match

The sensational Match fixing allegations are going on. Earlier, International Cricket Council president, Sharad Pawar says that, the ODI series between Pakistan and England will be continued with out any allegations as per the schedule.

Pawar: ODI Series between Pakistan and England will continue

ICC: Action will be taken after Investigation Completed

Yesterday, International Cricket Council president, Sharad Pawar said that, no actions were taken against Pakistan players, till the investigation was completed.

ICC board members and Sharad Pawar were discussed in the ICC about the Pakistan match fixing scandal. ICC is looking for the final investigation report and the decision will be based on report.

They are confident that Pakistan and England boards are not encourage protecting any one players who are done wrong thing.

PCB might suspend Four Pakistan players: Report

The Pakistan Cricket Board and International Cricket Council might be suspended four Pakistan Cricket players according to report against facing match fixing allegations.

The match fixing allegations were going on test series in England. The PCB and ICC were studying reports and suspending four Pakistan cricket players, such as Pakistan captain, Salman Butt, Mohammad Aamer, Mohammad Asif and Kamran Akmal.

Sarad Pawar says that, if any player is having guilty in the match fixing scandal in the Lord's test match then World cricket government will be taken ruthless actions in any player.

Shane Bond Joins Central Districts Coaching Staff

Javed Miandad Charged for Pakistan Coach?

Former captain Javed Miandad on Monday expressed his desire to coach the Pakistan cricket team, once again, if the PCB decided to replace the indicted players and management in England following the match-fixing scandal.

BCCI Fixed Two Dates for Modi’s Disciplinary Hearings

The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) disciplinary committee and suspended IPL commissioner, Lalit Modi fixed two sets of dates for the hearings in September and give dead line(Sep 28) to finish the processing.

Witness sublimation: On or before September 7^th

Cross examination dates: September 13-15 and 26-28.

Time: 10am-1pm and 6-9 pm.

BCCI chief administrative officer, Ratnakar Shetty announced Modi’s cross examination hearing dates were fixed on September 13-15 and September 26-28.

New Zealand Cricket Refuses Pakistan’s Tour

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) is refusing the Pakistan’s tour until the ICC has concluded an investigation.

In Pakistan’s New Zealand Tour, Pakistan will play two test matches, six One Day Internationals and three twenty20 matches in the months of December and January. But, NZC Chief Executive, Justin Vaughan canceled tour until the ICC anti-corruption unit to investigate. The NZC will follow the ICC anti-corruption unit judgment.

The Pakistan team is now facing the fixing problems in England. London police arrested some Pakistan players with bookies for spot-fixing.

NZC Chief Executive, Justin Vaughan said we will not commit on tour at this stage and he is waiting for the ICC anti-corruption unit report until the tour will be canceled.

He is expecting Pakistan team will ban from the International Cricket World in certain period of time. The former chief executive of the ICC, Martin Speed said suspension was one and only option for Pakistan.

BCCI Blocks UDRS System for upcoming Australia Series

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) blocked the Umpire Decision Review System (UDRS) for upcoming Australia series in October.

The BCCI Chief Administrative officer, Ratnakar Shetty announced the UDRS System has blocked for this series and we have already informed the ICC.

Australia will play two test matches and three One Day Internationals against India in this series on October.

The ICC has already announced, the UDRS ruling is choose by the cricket playing nations to use it on a series-by-series basis.

In the last month, India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni said the DRS is still not a hundred per cent correct system.

India Fined for slow over-rate in Dambulla’s ODI

The Indian cricket team was fined on Sunday for maintaining a slow over-rate during their defeat to Sri Lanka in the final ODI of the tri-series in Dambulla.

Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was fined 40 percent of his match fee, even if all their players were docked 20 percent their match fees.

Alan Hurst of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees ruled India to be two overs short of its target at the end of the tri-series final last night, when time allowances were taken into consideration.

In compliance with the ICC rules for a minor over-rate offences players are fined ten per cent of their match fees for every over their side did not bowl in the allotted time, the captain fined double that amount.

The punishment was accepted by India without contest, so it was not necessary to hold a hearing, an ICC statement said.

Pakistan Cricket Match Fixing: Seven Cricketers under Investigation

Chris Moller Is A New Cricket Chairman For New Zealand

Chris Moller, 56-years-old has appointed as a new chairman of New Zealand Cricket. Earlier, Chris Moller worked as a New Zealand rugby football union CEO and deputy chief executive of dairy company Fonterra co-operative.

The new chairman, Chris Moller has an NZC board member since September 2008; he is following as Alan Isaac's promotion to the International cricket vice-presidency.

Alan Issac was the joint Australia-New Zealand replacement candidate for International Cricket Council after rejection of John Howard in June. Chris Moller has been replacing the Alan Issac after two years of chairman and He also worked as a position of ICC vice-president for 20 years.

Ryan Sidebottom will Quit from Nottinghamshire

England bowler, Ryan Sidebottom, 32-years-old has confirmed that to leave Nottinghamshire at the end of the season. Earlier, England bowler, Ryan Sidebottom is looking for three years contract, but he got two years contract extension to his current deal.

South Africa has agreed to an extra Twenty20 game against Pakistan, United Arab Emirates to collect funds for flood victims in Pakistan.

CSA and PCB have agreed to play additional T20 game. On Thursday, Cricket South Africa CEO, Gerald Maloja said, this is a terrible tragedy and our hearts go out to the people of Pakistan.

BCCI: Criminal Case against Lalit Modi?

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will soon starts criminal proceedings against the IPL Ex Commissioner Lalit Modi in the financial irregularity in the IPL, a senior board official said.

England vs Pakistan final Test was delayed due to rain in the opening day of the test match at Lord's. The rain was stopped 20 minutes before the kick-off time 10:00 GMT.

Over the past 24 hours, rain and poor light delayed the start of the fourth test between England and Pakistan. The rain began once again at 10:20 am and the ground staff brings the covers back on the ground.

Zimbabwe Accepted For Pakistan Tour

Zimbabwe Cricket chief, Ozias Bvute confirmed that they accepted the principle of the tour of Pakistan, but insisted that players would not be forced to take part.

In Pakistan, there have been no international matches held from the terrorist attack bus on Sri Lankan team in March 2009. Recently, Pakistan has suffered a lot due to floods and seeking to provide assistance in collecting funds to help victims of natural disasters.

ICC Revealed LG People’s Choice Awards

On Monday, International Cricket Council announced the list of five cricketers for the LG People’s Choice Award category at LG ICC Awards to be held in Bangalore, India, on 06 October.

The short-list includes Sachin Tendulkar from India, Mike Hussey from Australia, Andrew Strauss from England, Mahela Jayawardene from Sri Lanka and AB de Villiers from South Africa.

ICC LG People's Choice Award has been included the first time this year, is selected for the cricket fans around the world that now have the opportunity to vote for their favorite player until September 10

Split-innings Format in Domestic Cricket Season

Cricket Australia has announced split-innings format will be played in the 2010-11 season in the National One-Day Cup.

The fifty overs format divides into two blocks, in the first block, both the teams will play 20 overs and in the second block, both teams will play 25 overs.

Queensland and Tasmania will play first match in this format on October 6 at the Gabba. Cricket Australia released 2010-11 domestic schedules today.

Cricket Australia Chief, James Sutherland said “We are excited by the new concepts set to be trialed in interstate cricket this summer and look forward to public comment the split-innings format is set to create.”

Townsville, Bunbury and Burnie teams will play in the National One-Day Cup. Final matches of this Cup will be held on March 17-21.

England vs Pakistan Fourth Test Match Updates

Pakistan Finalized ODI & T20 Squad for England

On Tuesday, Pakistan selectors announced their squad for next month's two Twenty20 and 5 ODI matches against England.

Pakistan selectors did not select former captain, Younus Khan. Pakistan cricket board has lifted the one-year ban against Younus Khan.

At present, Pakistan is playing 4 test series against England. Pakistan lost in first two tests and won in third test. Pakistan selected the top performers in the earlier matches.

All-rounder Shahid Afridi will lead the squad in the limited over series. The 16-man team will be the same for ODI’s and T20.

“The next World Cup 2011 is just six months away, so we have to keep a pool of 20-22 players and series against England will give us a good chance to prepare for the World Cup 2011,” said Afridi.

Andrew Flint off Ready for T20 Match against Australia

England player, Andrew Flint off has planned to come back and play for Queensland in January. He will be fit to join Queensland Twenty 20 match. He is looking to return to England team. Earlier, he suffered knee injury and he didn't continue the test matches due to this knee problem.

Now, he is likely to continue his career in cricket. Andrew Flint off is a 32-years old fast bowler. Fast bowler, Andrew Flint off hasn't played since England won the Ashes in the last year and will hope to return for this month before delaying his comeback again.

He says that he is bit frustrated and he was "meant to play for Lancashire over the past few weeks but seeing the Physio and seeing where I'm at, I can't run properly so it was decided that I probably shouldn't start quite yet."

India Should Win Against New Zealand

India should win in their upcoming match against New Zealand to survive in the tournament. India lost against Sri Lanka in their last match on August 22nd, 2010 at Dambulla.

Earlier, New Zealand and Sri Lanka match was drawn due to rain and got two points each. This creates a problem for India. If India would have won in their last match then can have better chances to survive.

India showed a poor performance against Sri Lanka and lost all wickets for 103 runs. Sri Lanka achieved 103 runs target for the loss of two wickets.

India lost against New Zealand in their first match of this tournament. In that match, India lost with huge difference.

Later, India retains their strength and performed well against Sri Lanka. India registered their first victory in this tournament and also got the bonus point.

India must win in their next match against New Zealand otherwise India will be kicked-off from this tournament.

New Zealand Rejected Offer from Pakistan

New Zealand Cricket CEO, Justin Vaughan has refused the suggestion that the New Zealand team will play matches in Pakistan to raise funds for flood victims.

On Monday, Justin Vaughan said that New Zealand is not going to play any matches in Pakistan and they canceled the Pakistan’s offer.

PCB spokesman, Nadeem Sarwar told on Sunday that his organization had received an email from Cricket New Zealand offers to play at least a one-off benefit of playing in Pakistan.

Vaughan has confirmed that New Zealand had asked the PCB to suggest cricket could play a role in collecting funds for flood victims, but said he remained opposed to tour Pakistan for security reasons.

No cricket team is not ready to play with Pakistan Vaughan said it was up to Pakistan cricket to organize fundraisers outside the country.

Umar Gul Remains Doubtful for Fourth Test Against England

Pakistan's experienced pace bowler, Umar Gul remains doubtful for the fourth and final Test against England, which will commence on Thursday at Lord’s.

Pakistan team manager Yawar Saeed Gul confirmed that he is still struggling with hamstring injury. Gul missed the third test for the same reason.

However, Gul will be available for the upcoming one-day series next month. But, if the things changes then Gul will be available for the fourth Test.

Gul is one of most experience players for Pakistan, suffered a hamstring injury during the second Test at Edgbaston and was advised rest for three to four weeks.

But, Yawar said the pace bowler had made a speedy recovery from his hamstring injury and may undergo fitness tests and MRI scans.

India Missed World Cup Home Advantage due to IPL

South Africa coach, Corrie van Zyl said that India had lost the advantage of home World Cup due to Indian Premier League, largely due to the experience of playing conditions that the best players in the world and acquired with the intensity of the most passionate crowds in the cricketing world.

Short Camp for India Probable ahead of OZ Series

A short camp of two or three day’s duration would be held for Indian probable ahead of the two-Test series against Australia commencing from October 1, Cricket Board sources said on Tuesday.

Aussies are due to arrive ten days before the start of the series, showing how serious they are in confronting the hosts who have maintained their standing as the number one ranked team in the world.

Ricky Ponting and his men are expected to reach Delhi on 21 September. They have four days practice session followed by a set of three days of game at Chandigarh from September 25-27.

After three days of rest and practice, the Aussies go to the test series in October 1-5 with the opening to be held in Mohali. The second test will be held in Bangalore from October 9 to 13.

Nielsen Appointed as Australia Coach

Australia appointed Tim Nielsen as a coach till the end of the next Ashes series, which is going to be held in England in 2013, the national cricket board said.

Former state-level wicketkeeper, Nielsen took over from John Buchanan in 2007, had helped Australia manage the 'challenging transition' following the retirements of top-class players including bowlers Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath, Cricket Australia (CA) said in a media release.

Australia head to India next month to play the top-ranked test side in a two-match series starting in October followed by one-day internationals.

They kick off their home series with further limited overs matches against Sri Lanka before the first match of the Ashes at the Gabba in Brisbane on November 25.

England Bowler Annoyed Views on Australia

Yorkshire pace bowler, Tim Bresnan is the only addition to England’s team. In the 3^rd Test, Bresnan has taken 4 wickets on Saturday.

Andrew Strauss squad is ready for the final Test match with 2-1 lead. The final Test match will commence on Thursday.

England national selector, Geoff Miller said: “There have been some very positives from the last test, such as Alastair Cook’s outstanding century and the way the team fought hard on the final day defending a small total.”

Indian Media Left Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Press Conference

Indian media have boycotted the Indian cricket team captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He did not attend to the press meeting after loosing the match against Sri Lanka by eight-wicket.

After the completion of the match, media persons are waiting for the Dhoni press conference, but he was busy in playing football.

Media persons called MS Dhoni for press conference after the match, but he was not listened the words of the journalists.

Sri Lanka Won Against India by 8 Wickets in 5th ODI

Sri Lanka defeated India by eight wickets in the 5th ODI. India won the toss and chose to bat first; scored only 103 runs in 33.4 over for the loss of ten wickets. Yuvraj Singh was the only batsman, who has scored 38 runs. The rest of India batting was totally surrendered for Sri Lankan bowlers.

Sri Lanka has bowled really well in this match. NLTCS Perera is the leading wicket taker with five wickets. Earlier, in this tournament India has scored 88 runs for the loss of ten wickets in their match against New Zealand. This is the second time in the tournament that the Indian batting collapsed.

Greg Chappell Nominated As Australia’s Full Time Selector

Former cricketer, Greg Chappell has become the first Australian full-time selector after the nominations conducted by National Talent Manager Cricket Board.

Andrew Hilditch will continue as National Selection Panel (NSP) and Chappell will act as one of the four members of NSP.

The former Australian captain, who played 87 Tests and 74 ODI’s will leave his current position as CA Centre of Excellence Head Coach in Brisbane to take the new role, according to Cricket Australia.

Greg Chappell, who had a controversial stint as coach of India between 2005 and 2007, is looking forward to take up the challenging job.

Chappell is expected to take the new role that has the current program of Council of Europe state cricket associations.

Netherlands team has lost their seventh match among the 40 matches. Netherlands has lost the match against Northampton shire by 32 runs.

Virender Sehwag remains 2nd in ICC Test rankings. Dashing opener, Virender Sehwag is the highest ranked Indian batsman grabbed the second place in the latest ICC Test rankings announced on Sunday.

Sri Lanka captain, Kumar Sangakkara leads the batting table, Michael Clarke, of Australia is at third place.

Kumar Sangakkara Got Clean Cheat From Referee

In the recent match of Sri Lanka vs New Zealand, which was stopped due to rain in Dambulla? Sri Lanka captain, Kumar Sangakkara has fined between 50 to 100% of his match fee or else he should be ban for a test or two Twenty20s for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct.

Initially, Sangakkara was charged with breaching clause 2.2.4 which deals with "inappropriate and deliberate physical contact between players in the course of play,"

The incident has taken place in the 27th over of Sri Lanka vs New Zealand innings. Sangakkara has hit the delivery of Nathan McCullum to leg side and went for a run, when he turn to second run he bumped into the bowler, who had his back to Sangakkara.

Nathan McCullum didn't like it and complained to the umpires and both had a words with each other. The match referee Alan Hurst says, "I looked at video footage of the incident from various angles and considered the detailed evidence of the umpires. I found that video evidence that was put forward by the player provided reasonable doubt as to whether the contact was deliberate"

Suraj Randiv Banned For One Match

Sri Lankan cricket board has suspended the bowler Suraj Randiv following the no-ball controversy, who has denied the Indian batsman, Virender Sehwag century during the match between India vs Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka team captain, Kumar Sangakkara has advised not to repeat such incidents in future. Sri Lankan cricket board says, "Suraj Randiv has been suspended for the next match against New Zealand and his match fee for the India Vs Sri Lanka match on August 16, 2010, has been forfeited,"

The decision has taken by the six man committee set up by the Sri Lanka Cricket. The board also stripped off the match fees of Randiv along with Tillakaratne Dilshan, who has encouraged Randiv to bowl the no- ball. Later, Randiv apologized to Sehwag.

The incident took place when Sehwag was at 99 and India need one run to win; Randiv is the bowler at 27th over. Randiv bowled a big no-ball, which denied the Sehwag to get his century. Initially, Sehwag was typical but later he said that Randiv had done based on the orders from his senior players. Let's wish not to repeat such type of incidents in coming days.

Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Match Abandoned

Sri Lanka vs New Zealand Tri Series Cricket match has stopped due to heavy rain. Earlier, this Tri-series match has started on August 19^th, 2010, at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla city.
