Fourth Member of Pakistan Team under ICC Investigation

The fourth member of the Pakistan team is being investigated by the ICC over match-fixing allegations, but declined to name him.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Pakistan coach refused to comment and officials stressed Sunday Twenty20 match between England and Pakistan at Cardiff will still go ahead.

Suspended trio threatened 23 charges between them - and revealed that the ICC is now probing the fourth player.

He quoted Pakistan batsman, Yasir Hameed as saying that some players were match-fixing in almost all the matches. Hameed later denied he made the remarks.

The action of the ICC against the three players has angered Pakistani authorities; in particular ambassador to Britain Wajid Shamsul Hasan said the ICC does not have business to suspend the trio and suggested that they were established.
